Ashtanga Yoga Chicago was founded by Ariel Forcier and Lily Luna. Our work is guided by a deep passion for sharing yoga as a living, breathing practice to support both individual transformation and collective wellbeing.

We are devoted to the traditional method of Ashtanga Yoga and see this lineage as a powerful path for self-study, resilience, and embodied awareness. At the heart of our offerings is our daily Mysore program, held 7–9am at Ahimsa Yoga Studio in Wicker Park, Chicago, where students practice at their own pace with individualized guidance—cultivating presence, discipline, and compassion both on and off the mat.

Our teachings extend beyond the studio as a reflection of our ongoing education and curiosity within the practice of yoga. We explore breathwork and somatic healing, which we share through breathing classes, meditations, workshops, and retreats.

Our mission is to create space to practice safely, ask questions, and stay connected to what yoga reveals over time.
